INSTRUCTIONS:
Base coat the box and lid with Delta Gesso. Let dry thoroughly and lightly sand. Wipe with a damp cloth.
Apply the pattern to the lid with "homemade" graphite paper. "Homemade" graphite is made by scribbling on a piece of tracing paper with a #2 pencil. Use this piece of tracing paper the same way you would use a piece of graphite paper. Ink all details, including dots and dashes. When finished erase any graphite lines with a Factis white eraser.
Mist lightly with Krylon #1311 Matte Finish Spray.
All base coats are painted with a wash of thinned paint (20% paint and 80% water) mixed in a bubble palette. Wash each area twice. Shading is done with the Ruby Satin Angular brushes and full-strength paint, blended on a disposable palette.
