Stencil- Simply Stencil by Plaid # 28824 Heart template

1. Base box in Camel. Let dry. Wet with clean water and sponge on Honey Brown.
Let dry. Wet again and sponge on Antique White. Sides of box are done the same . Inside and Bottom of box is done in Antique White.

2. Paint or stencil on heart using Moon Yellow . To do the plaid thin out Buttermilk a bit and using a # 8 flat brush wash on plaid. Let dry . Then go back with a liner brush and thinned paint brush in the lines . Using the liner again with thinned Honey Brown paint and line along the edge of the heart .

3. Using an old brush or a deerfoot brush , stipple around the design with Stonewedge and then Dark Forest Green .

4. Leaves- base leaves in Stonewedge with a touch of Dark Forest Green . Shade leaves using a float of Dark Forest Green and highlight using Buttermilk. Line in center of leaves and the berry stems with Dark Forest green.

5. Roses- base roses in Dusty Plum. Shade with a float of Pansy Lavender and highlight with Dusty Plum and White mixed. Roses centers- Base with Mocha. Using an old brush ,stipple in True Ochre on one side of the center and Spice Brown on the other side. Lightly stipple White in the middle. Add a few White dots in the center .

6. Babies Breath- Using that old brush again , stipple in White lightly here and there for baby breath. Add White dots .

7. Berries- Base berries in Golden Straw. Shade with a float of Burnt Sienna on one side and highlight with Golden Straw and White mixed on the other side . The small berry leaves are done using a liner and Dark Forest Green and White mixed in tiny strokes .
