Sayings Appropriate for Boxes

Some artists like to include an appropriate "saying" on the top or sides of their boxes. The following list was provided to us by several infant bereavement groups so you can be assured they feel the wording would be a comfort to the family.

Note: Anne Strebe has provided Spanish translations
for these sayings if your box is going to a hospital which
this would be appropriate.

  • Each new life... No matter how fragile or brief... Forever changes the world.

  • A person's a person no matter how small.
Cada ser, aunque pequeño, es importante.

  • Hold close these moments for we shall always live by remembering.

  • In an instant, you touched our hearts forever.

  • Our joys will be greater, our love will be deeper, our lives will be fuller,
    because we shared this moment.

  • And we loved you all your life.
Te amamos profundamente durante toda tu vida.

  • Our baby, was born, and died, weight (lbs), (oz), length
    * Hijo = masculine; hija = feminine (Please include a note whether it is for a boy or
girl for the hospital if you use this in case the nurse does not read Spanish.)

  • precious
    especial

  • And in a twinkling of an eye this little one came into our hearts.

  • Some people only dream of angels, we held one in our arms.
    nuestros brazos.

  • To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die.

  • I remember
    Te recuerdo

  • We remember
    Nosotros te recordamos

  • Sometimes love is for a moment. Sometimes love is for a lifetime.
Sometimes a moment is a lifetime.

  • "The morning glory blooms but for an hour, and yet it differs not at heart
from the giant pine that lives for a thousand years" Teitoko Matsunaga
Teitoko Matsunaga

  • Two hearts can meet for a moment and forge a love that will last a lifetime.

  • Always in our hearts
    Siempre en nuestros corazones.

  • Forever in our hearts
    Para siempre en nuestros corazones.

  • My beloved child
    Mi hijo (hija) amado.
    · Hijo = masculine; hija = feminine (Please include a note whether it is for a
boy or girl for the hospital if you use this in case the nurse does not read Spanish.)

  • In loving memory
    Recordándote con cariño.

  • Love lasts forever
    El amor es para siempre.

  • Always Remembered
    Siempre en nuestra memoria.
